Spicy Potato Nuggets

These potato nuggets are very easy to make and ideal to serve at parties or picnics. Perfectly crispy and delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch spring onion
  • ¾ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Boil the potatoes with skins on for about 45 minutes or until fork tender.
  • Peel and cool down the potatoes.
  • With the potato masher, mash the potatoes very well.
  • Add chopped onion, spring onion, tomato paste, spices and breadcrumbs and mix everything with your hands.
  • Form little nuggets and fry in the preheated oil until both sides are crispy and brown.
  • Serve it with your favourite sauce and enjoy!
