Miso Maple Roasted Parsnips is a delicious Holiday side dish with the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and umami flavors.

Ingredients
  

  • 500g (1lb) parsnips if small cut in half, if big cut into quarters
  • 2 tsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together miso paste, maple syrup, olive oil and chili flakes.
  • Place the parsnip wedges in a large mixing bowl, pour the glaze over them, and toss until every piece is well coated.
  • Spread the coated parsnips out on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 25–30 minutes. You’ll know they’re ready when they’re tender and golden brown.
  • Serve as a side dish to other mains and enjoy!
