Total Time 10 hours hrs 10 minutes mins
- 350 g white flour
- 200 g whole wheat flour
- 12 g instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 500 ml water
In a large mixing bowl, combine the white flour, whole wheat flour, chia seeds, yeast and salt. Mix well. Add slightly warm water and mix again with the spatula until you form a sticky dough.
Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
After this rise, transfer the bowl to the fridge an leave overnight or at least 8 hours.
When you are ready to cook, remove the dough from the fridge and let it sit in a room temperature for about hour.
Using a spoon, scoop some dough and transfer to the lined baking sheet. I've made 8 rolls from this recipe.
Bake in the preheated 220C oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Cool down and enjoy!
