Ingredients
  

  • 350 g white flour
  • 200 g whole wheat flour
  • 12 g instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 500 ml water

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the white flour, whole wheat flour, chia seeds, yeast and salt. Mix well. Add slightly warm water and mix again with the spatula until you form a sticky dough.
  • Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
  • After this rise, transfer the bowl to the fridge an leave overnight or at least 8 hours.
  • When you are ready to cook, remove the dough from the fridge and let it sit in a room temperature for about hour.
  • Using a spoon, scoop some dough and transfer to the lined baking sheet. I've made 8 rolls from this recipe.
  • Bake in the preheated 220C oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Cool down and enjoy!

    those rolls look amazing and i would love to try them but i’m one of those ignorant people who use us measurements and don’t know how they would convert. So, i’m curious why do you use US measurements in some recipes but not other? thanks.

    1. Hi, thank you for the question, I’m from Europe, so normally I don’t use US measurments, although big part of my audience is from US, so I will try to write with US measurments from now on.
      Here is the recipe for you in cups, hope it works for you, as these bread roll are amazing! 😀
      2 ¾ cups white flour
      1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
      4 tsp instant yeast (or one 0.25 oz packet)
      1 tsp salt
      2 tbsp chia seeds
      2 cups + 2 tbsp lukewarm water
