  • Made with Simple Ingredients: Everything you need for these noodles is likely already in your kitchen.
  • Totally Customizable: The base flavors are delicious on their own, but you can add veggies, protein, or extra spice to make it exactly how you like it.

Ingredients You’ll Need

For this recipe, you’ll want to gather:

  • Noodles: anything you have on hand works, like ramen, spaghetti, or rice noodles.
  • Peanut Butter: Creamy or chunky peanut butter gives the sauce that nutty, rich flavor we’re after.
  • Soy Sauce: For a savory, umami flavor that balances out the peanut butter.
  • Sesame Oil: Adds a hint of toasted, nutty flavor that makes the sauce feel extra special.
  • Lemon or Lime Juice: This adds a bit of acidity, brightening up the sauce and balancing the richness of the peanut butter.
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: A touch of sweetness that rounds out the savory notes (optional, but recommended).
  • Garlic: This is optional but adds a bit of depth. Use fresh if you can, but powder works in a pinch.
  • Chili flakes: Brings a spicy kick to the sauce.

Optional Toppings

Feel free to get creative with the toppings. Here are a few ideas:

  • Chopped green onions
  • Crushed peanuts for extra crunch
  • Chili flakes or sriracha for a spicy kick
  • Sesame seeds

Tips & Tricks

  • Add Extra Protein: Throw in some tofu on top to make this meal heartier.
  • Make It Spicy: Add more sriracha or chili oil to the sauce if you love heat!
  • Leftovers: These noodles are best served fresh, but if you have leftovers, just add a splash of water and microwave them for a minute or two to revive the sauce.
