Miso Maple Roasted Parsnips
Ingredients
- 500g (1lb) parsnips if small cut in half, if big cut into quarters
- 2 tsp white miso paste
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp chili flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together miso paste, maple syrup, olive oil and chili flakes.
- Place the parsnip wedges in a large mixing bowl, pour the glaze over them, and toss until every piece is well coated.
- Spread the coated parsnips out on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 25–30 minutes. You’ll know they’re ready when they’re tender and golden brown.
