These oven-baked shredded BBQ mushrooms are a flavorful and satisfying alternative to traditional BBQ meats.

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g mushrooms button or portabelo
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp bbq sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 200C.
  • Clean the mushrooms and shred them into thin strips using a grater.
  • Transfer the mushrooms to a lined baking dish.
  • Add spices, olive oil, bbq sauce and soy sauce and mix very well.
  • Spread the mixture into a thin layer.
  • Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and the sauce is bubbling.
  • Serve as you like and enjoy!
