Spread the love

This sunflower seed and dill dip is seriously one of the easiest and delicious I made in a long time! It’s so so easy to make and the result is amazing! It is creamy, lemony, garlicky, herby, versatile and most important incredibly delicious!

This dip would make a lovely dip to have on hand through the week to pair with fresh vegetables, roasted vegetables, crackers, wraps, and more! Although we finished it in just a couple of days, it was that good!

What are the ingredients for sunflower seed and dill dip?

The base for this 8-ingredient recipe is soaked raw sunflower seeds, which are neutral enough to absorb other flavours, and also incredibly nutritious, providing plenty of vitamin E, vitamin B1, and selenium!

Next comes fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt for flavour. Once blended with olive oil and tahini to create a creamy base, add in some of your favourite herbs.I went with dill because lemon, garlic, and dill pair so well together. But other herbs would be delightful as well!

Why choose this dip?

I think sometimes I get bored of my favourite dip which is hummus and I want to create something interesting and also bean-free. This dip is definitely perfect in this case. You can adjust the flavour with favourite herbs, but I really liked how good it was with dill. The base of the dip is just perfect and so creamy almost like cream cheese consistency.

This dip can also stay in the fridge for a really long time. Make sure you store it in airtight container and cover with olive oil to protect from drying. It’s so perfect for sandwiches, dipping vegetables, serving at the party, or eating with bread! Definitely try it!
